Kristyna had stayed in damp region northeast of Spanish town called Ciudad Real, then she flew due the Strait of Gibraltar. David had been residing near Doňana (south Spain). Jonas stayed near Pilsen (Western Bohemia).

Kristyna flew across the Strait of Gibraltar and entered
Morocco.
- October 14
Kristyna continued without rest in flying over Sahara desert.
- October 19
Jonas was caught in Domažlice region. He was situated to the Station for care of birds with suspicious of illness.
Kristyna reached the south edge of Sahara in Mauritania.
David had been staying in the south of Spain still.
