Zuzana stopped in Israel near Lebanon and Sirya border. She flew across Turkey along totally different path than she had used previous year.
Oskar resided south of Turkey.
- November 11
Van den Bossche (an ornithologist expert), observed Zuzana near Amir kibuc in Israel, in the same location as on the 11th of November, 1995. Zuzana was together with 123 black storks and 39 white storks.
- November 12
Oskar was observed together with 53 black storks and 5 white storks in Israel. He resided at Maoz Haim ponds, about 70 km south of the location, where Zuzana did, and he was catching food in one of empty ponds.
- November 16
Argos located Zuzana in Arabian Desert in Egypt. She flew across Red Sea probably in the place of Gulf of Suez in one of previous two days.
- November 19
Oskar flew across the Gulf of Suez.
- November 25
Zuzana reached her winter habitat east of Lake Tana in Ethiopia.
Oskar resided near Kom Ombo, north of Aswan in Egypt, for the fourth day at least. The direction of his path indicated he was going to winterise in central Africa like Viktor had done a year ago.
