Kristyna was located near Padrt pond area in the Brdy hills. Fortunately, she survived the hails that had killed all her babies.
- July 6
Instead of following an entire family, the operating team decided to observe two couples of black storks. That is why Tereza (a female stork nesting near Dobris town) was equipped with another 60 g communication kit. The reason she was chosen was that a stork with colour ring 61T had been seen in her nest.
- July 28
Male stork "61T" was finally equipped with the communication kit. This happened in the nest near Dobris town. The stork was named Martin. However, at the time no one was sure that Martin is really a Tereza's couple-partner. Further observations proved that 2 years old Martin (that means he had not been adult yet) joined Tereza and her partner just as a helper to help them with the babies.
